Too-Faced Names Blogger as Spokesperson

The brand has a new 'YouTube Ambassador.'

Too Faced Cosmetics has named the 27-year-old beauty blogger Dulce Tejeda, better known as Dulce Candy, as its first-ever “YouTube Ambassador” – for the brand’s Better Than Sex mascara.

Tejeda is known for her candid tips and easy going style – and massive number of followers on social media. Her Instagram account has over 929,000 fans. Tejeda began providing video content this week to her over 1.6 million YouTube subscribers on her YouTube channel, DulceCandy87.

Jerrod Blandino, founder/creative director of Too Faced, told WWD in an article by Jayme Cyk on July 7:

“Dulce empowers women everyday through her work, instilling confidence and knowledge through her tutorials, reviews and advice. That’s exactly in line with the Too Faced philosophy, to empower women through makeup and “own your pretty.”
